Despite our location (highway and river frontage) our rooms are traditionally very quiet, providing guests with a comfortable night’s sleep.

We have two, 2 bedroom family rooms that can be hired for couples requiring a second bedroom or simply more space.

Three Bedroom Apartment (“The Flat”)


This apartment is located above the main reception area and is accessed by an external staircase. It is not recommended for guests with mobility concerns. Older in style, the apartment is suitable for families requiring more space, or single workers wishing to share accommodation.

  • Bedroom 1 has a double bed with electric blanket
  • Bedroom 2 has a double bed with electric blanket
  • Bedroom 3 has two single beds with electric blankets
  • 2 x bathrooms. One has a small bath.
  • Kitchen with full sized fridge, microwave, electric hotplates, sink, kettle, toaster, and an assortment of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.
  • Lounge area
  • Dining table with 6 chairs
  • Rooms serviced daily or by arrangement. For longer terms stays the apartment is cleaned on a weekly basis.

Cancellation Terms


If a confirmed booking is cancelled;

  • 3 days prior to the arrival date, a refund will be issued minus a $25 administrative charge.
  • Within 2 days of the arrival date;
    • Where a deposit has been made a refund will be issued, minus one nights accommodation.
    • Where no deposit has been made a charge will be made to the guests account to the value of one night's accommodation per booked room.

Terms


Entry into The Bridge Motel rooms is conditional upon supply of either a valid credit card, or bond money.

If in the course of a guests stay, and contributable to any guests or visitors of that room, any unforeseen expenses become apparent the guests credit card will be charged an amount, appropriate to the expense, at a rate determined by the management of The Bridge Motel. In the case of a bond, the bond funds will be held in reserve until such time that all costs associated with the said expenses are recovered. Any remaining bond moneys will be refunded to the guest.

Fees chargeable to guest accounts include, and are not limited to;

  • Smoking, smoking odour, room degradation (such as vomit, bodily waste, general damage, any problem sufficient to result in a room being withdrawn from it’s availability to be let) - $150 per offence, plus a daily room tariff to be advised by the management, in accordance with business demand on the day, until the said room is considered to be in a saleable condition.
  • Lost or stolen keys - $80 - Attempts will be made to contact the guest who will be given the opportunity to return keys taken. Failure to do so will result in the fee being charged to their credit card, or bond.

Enforcement of the Terms and Conditions

Copies of these Terms and Conditions are available in the Bridge Motel reception, in each motel room compendium and web site.
Entry into our reception or motel rooms, ensures that you agree that your access to and use of The Bridge Motel is subject to these terms and conditions.
